The Growers

Behind every wine there is a group of people who share the same vision. People who love the land of Rethymno and farm it with knowledge, dedication and deep respect for the vine and for nature. Most of them tend family vineyards passed down from one generation to the next, keeping traditional growing practices and precious indigenous varieties alive.

Ours is not a simple business arrangement. It rests on trust, transparency and a shared love for this place. Our aim is to bring out the singular character of each vineyard and each area, making wines that express their origin honestly.

For us the growers are not suppliers; they are family. They take part at every stage, from pruning and tending the vines to the harvest, leaving their own mark on every label.

Through this collective effort we support the local communities, strengthen the sustainability of viticulture and help preserve a viticultural wealth that is an inseparable part of Crete’s cultural heritage.

Our greatest dream is that people stay in their villages — or even return to them. That they keep farming the land, live decently from their work and raise their families where their roots are. Because as long as the vineyard stays alive, so does the place.

That is why we do not simply make wine. We cultivate relationships, keep traditions and hold together the communities that give the Cretan vineyard its life. And because our growers are our extended family, every harvest ends the way it deserves to: with one great celebratory table, where growers from all the villages meet, share stories, laugh and celebrate the fruit of a whole year.

Every bottle that leaves the winery carries that collective effort. It is the expression of the land, and of the people who farm it with love, passion and deep respect.
